Today marks the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March. Shenzhou-23 astronauts, including the first Hong Kong-born astronaut, Li Jiaying, paid tribute and sent best wishes to the revolutionary forebears from the Chinese Space Station. Li expressed that they could still see the meandering 'Red Ribbon' through the window.
Shenzhou-23 astronauts currently in orbit spoke about the past 70 years of how Chinese aerospace workers were striving for the rejuvenation of the nation and exploring the cosmos. According to Zhang Zhiyuan, for the past 70 years, Chinese aerospace workers have embarked on one journey after another towards the stars and beyond. Zhu Yangzhu added that the Shenzhou-23 crew would report from the Chinese space station to the forebears, stating that the mission was progressing well and wishing China's prosperity and strength, not living up to expectations.
The China National Space Administration has achieved a series of successes and technological breakthroughs in the past 70 years, realizing dreams of exploring the universe. With the advancement of China's space program, more overseas-trained astronauts have joined the team, contributing to achieving the dream of a space powerhouse. As for the first Hong Kong-born astronaut, Li Jiaying's participation also represents a new opportunity for the development of China's space industry.
