APEC Business Travel Card Holders: Maximum Stay Period Extended to 90 Days in China

China has extended the maximum stay period for APEC Business Travel Card holders from 60 to 90 days, effective from November 1, 2026. This move aims to facilitate business exchanges within the Asia-Pacific region.

APEC's thirtieth-third Leadership Meeting will take place in Shenzhen from November 18 to 19. According to CCTV News reports, to continue facilitating business personnel exchanges in the Asia-Pacific region, the Chinese side has decided to extend the longest stay period for holders of APEC Business Travel Cards in China from sixty to ninety days, effective from November 1, 2026.

The extension of the stay period is aimed at enhancing the convenience for business travelers and aligning with international standards. This new term will commence on the specified date and apply to all current and future APEC Business Travel Card holders.
