The famous 'Dog Mountain' is located on the opposite bank of the Tuoguan Malifu Gorge, upstream of the Three Gorges Dam. From a viewing platform along the G348 highway, the hill's contours resemble a docile-looking puppy: the light-colored rock wall resembles the puppy's head, the cave entrance serves as the closed eyes, the plants and orange trees covering the hill mimic the fur, and the safety sign by the river forms the exposed teeth.
