Henry Lee, while born in Rugao, Jiangsu, considered Yangzhou to be his real home. Jiang mentioned that Lee's wish was to be buried in Yangzhou, where they shared their family life.
Dual Ashes, Greater Affection
During the ceremony, Jiang held back tears as she bid farewell to Lee's remains. Lee had made clear arrangements that his ashes would be split, with one portion kept by Jiang and the other by his first wife's daughter in the United States. Jiang disclosed that the portion in the U.S. will be buried with his first wife, satisfying Lee's desire to return home while respecting his ties with his first wife's family.
